I began my journey with self-taught skills in HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript, complemented by design tools like Photoshop and Flash. This blend of technical and creative expertise shaped my passion for crafting intuitive, user-centered digital experiences.
2007-2011
While attending college, I began building websites and creating graphic designs for small businesses in Baltimore, combining creativity and technical skills to support local entrepreneurs.
2011
I was hired by United Way of Central Maryland to lead the redevelopment of uwcm.org. I migrated the website to Joomla, redesigning it to be modern, responsive, and user-friendly, ensuring a seamless experience for visitors across all devices.
2011-2014
While completing my degree, I continued building websites through my own company, helping businesses establish a strong online presence with tailored designs and functionality.
2014
As a Front-End Web Developer and Designer at CareFirst BCBS, I honed my development skills and was introduced to the world of User Experience (UX), sparking a passion for creating intuitive and impactful digital solutions.
2017-2019
At Bellese Technologies, I served as a Senior UX Designer, supporting CMS in modernizing the EQRS application. I focused on enhancing usability, streamlining workflows, and creating a more intuitive experience for users.
2019-2021
I worked at Northrop Grumman as a Senior Principle UX Designer. I played a key role in launching DesignOps for a team of 65+ UX designers, which streamlined our processes and improved collaboration. Additionally, I expanded my expertise by getting involved in strategic initiatives, shaping the direction of our UX efforts within the organization.
2018
Co-founded a startup focused on building a maternal telehealth platform, InovCares. Led the design work and product management, contributing to its growth and funding.
2020
I built a digital contactless menus and payments platform, which was adopted by over 50 restaurants in Houston during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. This project demonstrated my ability to implement Service Design principles and leverage my technical skills to create solutions that served the community during a critical time.
Consulted for large companies such as NOV and Cargill, assisting with their internal product design efforts.
